Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time Nights
Responsibilities
- Adheres to hospital nursing practice standards, demonstrates appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Aid the emergent patient and document accordingly on Emergency Room nursing tool.
- Identify patient needs based on objective data and follow through with appropriate documentation.
- Implement appropriate nursing actions to each patient that needs to be identified.
- Makes decisions that reflect both knowledge of facts and sound judgment.
- Discuss with and include patient an/or family significant other about planned patient care and expected outcomes and document same.
- Identify and appropriately utilize multidisciplinary approach to facilitate delivery of patient care.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN highly preferred.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Delaware.
- Previous ER and/or Acute Care experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment.
