About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, level 1 trauma environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced nursing skills to deliver evidence-based care, prioritize patient safety, and contribute to quality outcomes.
• Participate in a cohort-based orientation program designed for nurses new to emergency care, supported by clinical educators for competency validation.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, model proficiency through precepting, and support a culture of wellness, safety, and continuous learning.
• Provide high-level emergency care, support clinical education and specialty training, and contribute to safe, patient-centered outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience)
• Valid RN licensure
• Minimum 6 months RN experience
• Certifications in BLS, PALS or ENPC, ACLS, and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
