REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - Emergency Department 7P-7A

About the role

Join our team at Minden Medical Center's Emergency Department as a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) on our night shift (7P-7A) and provide critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care during the critical night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Engage in a variety of tasks including triaging patients, administering medications, and performing assessments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a customer-centric approach
• Utilize problem-solving skills, respond to emergencies, and support patients and their families with empathy and integrity

Requirements

• AHA BLS certification is essential
• Obtain ACLS and De-Escalation training/crisis intervention within your first month of employment
• Complete PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications within six months of employment
• Show strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Show commitment to safety and adherence to best practices

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a current RN license in good standing, relevant clinical experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Skills

• Proficiency in AHA BLS
• Ability to obtain ACLS and De-Escalation training/crisis intervention within one month of employment
• Completion of PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications within six months of employment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
