Registered Nurse (RN) - DOU - Direct Observation Unit

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Direct Observation Unit (DOU) at a hospital setting. Responsibilities: Provide safe patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient care, adhering to clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Utilize critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills to deliver quality nursing services, considering patient age and cultural diversity. Support organizational mission and promote positive patient outcomes through excellence in customer service and performance improvement. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors preferred). Minimum of two years of current PCU experience, with successful competency assessment. Valid Florida nursing license and current American Heart Association BLS certification. Strong communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills are required. Key Duties: Direct and coordinate patient care, document nursing activities, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
