About the role
Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Acute Dialysis Unit, focusing on renal replacement therapies such as hemodialysis and other modalities. This role emphasizes patient‑centered care and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring patient and family education, safety, and quality compliance.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate care plans effectively.
- Promote a healing environment that addresses physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.
- Participate in professional development and ensure adherence to standards of nursing care.
- Manage dialysis treatments, provide patient education, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and support continuous professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must have an RN license, with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years hospital‑based RN experience is preferred, with dialysis experience being advantageous.
- Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating alertness and professionalism.
Schedule
This role involves rotating weekends and on‑call shifts.
