Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. Our mission emphasizes excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and education.
Registered Nurses at Hampton Behavioral Health Center provide direct patient care under physician and treatment team guidance, maintain a safe and supportive environment through safety checks and crisis management, document patient care, and uphold the center’s core values. This full-time position operates from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, with opportunities for overtime and shift coverage.
This position qualifies for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Assess and respond to the medical needs of patients under physician guidance.
- Conduct safety checks and implement appropriate behavioral management techniques.
- Maintain the core values and mission of Hampton Behavioral Health Center.
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited program preferred.
- ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
- CPR certification required.
