Registered Nurse RN (7pm to 7am)

Tulsa Nursing Center in Tulsa, OK is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a long-term and rehabilitative care facility. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare and ensuring a positive resident experience.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the 7pm to 7am shift, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will ensure the highest quality services are delivered in a customer-service-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies and secures equipment supplies.
• Directs and oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes and coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees and monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluates staff performance and institutes appropriate disciplinary or training actions.
• Monitors infection control compliance.
• Investigates and documents accidents and incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
