Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

About the role

Provides specialized nursing care as a CVICU Registered Nurse, focusing on critically ill cardiac patients in a high-acuity environment. Works in a 15-bed ICU specializing in advanced cardiac device management and critical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Educate patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs
• Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Develop individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively across care teams
• Address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Less than 2 years of experience (preferred)

Skills

• Critical care, step‑down, or cardiac experience highly desired
• Ability to work in a safety‑sensitive role with alertness and professionalism

Schedule

• 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am)
