Responsibilities

• Manage patients after open heart surgeries
• Manage patients after advanced vascular surgeries (aneurysm repairs, chimneys, bypasses, aortic dissections)
• Manage patients after structural heart interventions
• Manage patients after acute coronary syndromes (ACS) and cardiogenic shock
• Manage patients after heart failure and life‑threatening arrhythmias
• Gain hands‑on experience with advanced technology such as:
  • ECMO (VA/VV/VAV)
  • Impella (CP, 5.5, RP)
  • Intra‑Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
  • Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
  • EKOS
  • Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)
• Perform bedside procedures: PEG and tracheostomy placement

Requirements

• Experience: Tele/stepdown or PCU RN with 2‑3 years experience
• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Certifications: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
• CPR
• ACLS as applicable by Facility/Department
• ACLS and CPR required for ER, ICU, CVICU, stepdown, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, and L&D upon orientation completion

Qualifications

• Experience: 1‑2 years experience in RN ICU or CVICU
• Education: BSN
