Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (ICU)

Location: 435 Lewis Avenue, Midstate Medical Center (10123)

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:00)
• Every 3rd weekend worked
• Every 3rd holiday worked

About the Role

MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our ICU units. We focus on supporting colleagues, enabling ICU RNs to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. New ICU nurses receive clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities through our ICU Nurse Residency program.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut
• Previous RN experience
• ASN or BSN
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Self-directed in the management of patient care
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Independent problem-solving skills
