Registered Nurse (RN) Corporate and Community Health (PRN)

LOCATIONS
Primarily within Lancaster County, may occasionally travel to surrounding counties.
HOURS
Commit to working at least 65 hours per quarter or an average of 5 hours/week. Prioritize corporate wellness nursing shifts (screenings & flu clinics first and foremost, then nurse outreach, and presentations/learning).
SUMMARY
Provide clinical professional nursing duties in support of Corporate or Community Health and Wellness programs and activities. Duties include conducting health screenings, educating clients, preparing and administering injections, documenting information, and providing health coaching and outreach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing
- One to three years of clinical nursing experience
- One to three years of community public health nursing experience (for Community Health)
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Identify client learning needs and implement culturally competent teaching strategies
- Prepare and administer injections in a safe manner according to current practice standards
- Clearly document relevant client information based on services offered
- Represent LG Health at events and promote messages
- Facilitate effective health education programs and presentations
- Act as a care navigator for corporate clients to direct participants to the right care at the right time
- Outreach telephonically to clients with high risk values to promote education with care coordination
