Registered Nurse (RN) Coronary Care Unit Per Diem Night

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage range for this position is $49.28 - $66.05. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Schedule

• Night Shift
• Per Diem (scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2 shifts per month)
• Must work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Maintain awareness of own individual level of knowledge and experience; assume responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others on the patient care team.
• Report identified safety issues, such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Understand the patient population served.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members; collaborate with other patient care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualize the plan of care to address specific patient needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ASN or Nursing Diploma from a nationally accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
