Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator - Cardiology Clinic

About the role

The RN Coordinator at Porter Heart and Vascular Center plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the stress testing program. This position is essential for preparing patients, performing tests efficiently, and maintaining clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate results and timely care decisions
• Maintains a positive patient experience
• Supports the quality and continuity of services
• Facilitates staff to patient ratios in a fiscally responsible manner
• Coordinates and supports continuity of care and communication between departments
• Participates in evaluation processes and contributes to society through activities leading to excellent patient outcomes
• Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Provides excellent customer service

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Previous experience in a leadership role preferred

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired
• Maintains clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations

$38.24 - $63.35 hourly wage based on experience and education

Full-time; days; 40 hours per week; 5x 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
