The Compliance RN supports the hospice program by ensuring documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and overall clinical quality. This position serves as a liaison between the clinical teams, Medical Directors, and the compliance department, including conducting audits, supporting process improvement efforts, and promoting adherence to CMS and CHAP standards. Perform clinical and compliance audits related to admissions, documentation, and ongoing careReview and verify records for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory complianceCommunicate audit findings, request corrections, and support staff education as neededAssist with preparation for CHAP surveys and internal/externalContribute to quality initiatives and QAPI projects through data collection and reportingCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to maintain compliance and ensure best practicesSupport ongoing process improvements to strengthen documentation quality and operational efficiencySupport field team as needed with shadow visits to support accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance chartingOther duties as assigned by Director of Clinical ServicesActive Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing,Minimum 2 years of hospice, home health, or quality/compliance experienceStrong understanding of CMS hospice regulations and CHAP accreditationExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solvingProficient in EMR systems (MatrixCare experience preferred)Hospice experience is required
