About the role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator joining our team, you are embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. You will develop in-services and continuing education for nursing and auxiliary staff of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provides educational offerings and materials based on the identified needs of the staff and the Nursing Education Council.
- Serves as a knowledge base and resource to consult with and educate nursing and medical staff, students, and ancillary staff members.
- Coordinates, teaches, and facilitates certification courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other courses as requested and trained/capable to teach).
- Teaches BLS and other classes within scope of competency.
Requirements
- Current VA or compact state RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Master’s degree required within 3 years of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in professional nursing in which leadership ability has been demonstrated.
Pay
Hourly range: $33.22 - $44.85 per hour.
