Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Coordinator - ICU

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator in the ICU supports daily unit operations, promotes patient-centered care, and acts as a clinical resource and role model for staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staffing and patient assignments based on acuity and skill, monitors performance, and troubleshoots clinical and operational issues collaboratively.
• Participates in recruitment, onboarding, clinical education, and mentoring staff for professional growth.
• Ensures compliance with policies, regulations, and standards; reviews department procedures; and assists in performance improvement initiatives.
• Acts as a liaison between staff and management, provides direct patient care when needed, and oversees supply and equipment management.
• Executes Nurse Manager duties in their absence and assumes "on call" responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a Nursing degree, current NY RN license, CPR certification, and three years of clinical experience.
• Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in Nursing, relevant experience, and professional certification.
