About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator for the ICU to oversee daily unit operations, staff coordination, and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Determine staffing needs and supervise patient assignments based on acuity and staff skills
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff, patients, families, and physicians
- Participate in recruitment, staff education, mentorship, performance appraisals, and compliance monitoring
- Assist with policy review and quality improvement initiatives
- Act as a liaison between staff and management
- Provide direct patient care within the ICU setting
- Oversee staff and manage operational activities in the ICU
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current NY RN licensure
- CPR certification
- At least three years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with supervisory background
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Specialty certification
