Registered Nurse - RN Circulator - Surgical Services - Full Time - Days

About The Career Circulator

Duties:

• Coordinates the activities of the room
• Assembles necessary equipment
• Delegates activities to other team members
• Implements the nursing process and care plan
• Serves as the patient advocate
• Affirms a safe environment for the patient
• Completes documentation accurately
• Completes a correct sponge, needle and instrument count
• Informs PACU of special needs

About The Department

The Surgical Services Department at Montrose Regional Health is committed to providing quality surgical services and improving the quality of life for our patients. We provide surgical services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

About You

• At least 1 year experience as an Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (preferred)
• Current Colorado or compact state RN license or ability to become licensed
• Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma in Nursing
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS or ENPC within 9 months
• Experience is preferred
• Certified in OR is recommended
