The trauma program collaborates with state and private emergency-management personnel throughout Delaware to ensure every injured person receives the same high-quality care and best possible chance for recovery.

About the role

Our Emergency Department nurses care for patients experiencing medical, cardiac, and trauma-related emergencies. We seek an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Christiana Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a high-acuity, Level I trauma center.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver immediate, life-saving care.

Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtain within three years of hire.
• At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical unit or emergency department.
• BLS certification required.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $41.28 – $66.05. The actual salary offered will depend on individual factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule

• Full-time flex position (72 hours per pay period).
• Midnight shift: 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• Required commitment: every third weekend and two holidays per year.
