About the Role
Christiana Hospital is Delaware’s only Level I trauma center for adults, designated by the state and verified by the American College of Surgeons. As part of Delaware’s trauma system, ChristianaCare leads statewide trauma response, strategic planning, and education, collaborating with emergency-management personnel to ensure high-quality care for every injured patient. Our Emergency Department (ED) nurses care for patients with medical, cardiac, and trauma-related emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a high-acuity, Level I trauma emergency department.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver immediate, life-saving interventions.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse and complex patient cases.
Requirements
- BSN required or commitment to obtain within three years of hire.
- At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical unit or emergency department.
- BLS certification required.

Schedule
- Part-time (60 hours per pay period) on a midnight shift: 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Required commitment: every third weekend and 2 holidays per year.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $41.28 – $66.05. The final salary within this range depends on individual factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
