Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab

About the role

Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cath Lab. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care in a specialized setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and evaluates patients in the Cath Lab.
• Assists with Catheterization procedures, administers medications, and monitors Cath patients.
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care, adjusting as necessary based on patient responses.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient conditions and communicates with the care team, providers, and families.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Evaluates the learning needs of patients and families and provides appropriate education.
• Serves as an advocate for patient safety and well-being.

Requirements

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is full-time with a rotating schedule of days off every third day through the week (Monday through Thursday) and every third weekend.
