About the Role
This position provides direct clinical patient care and assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a shift basis. The RN supervises staff, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care, and supports resource management at the unit level.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver patient care based on the nursing process.
- Adhere to safety standards, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control protocols.
- Perform all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) duties during emergencies.
- Familiarize with emergency codes and procedures.
- Responsible for patient discharge planning and overall care coordination within medical regimes.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure or certification as an RN.
- CPR certification.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and emergency response knowledge.
