Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
- Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing
- Current Alabama RN license (or eligible for licensure)
- BLS required

3x12 Full Time - 7:00PM- 7:00AM

North Alabama Medical Center is a 263-bed facility offering the community's only open-heart surgery site, a complete line of women's and children's services and a complete line of medical and imaging services. We are a Certified Chest Pain center and recognized as a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence by the American Heart/American Stroke Association. North Alabama Medical Center's 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in Northwest Alabama.
