About the Role
The Registered Nurse Specialty provides safe, culturally aware patient care under the supervision of physicians and office managers.
Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare patients for examinations
- Assist with procedures
- Manage patient flow and coordinate scheduling
- Perform clinical tasks such as IV insertion, phlebotomy, and EKGs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Document care and educate patients on monitors and procedures
- Manage post-procedure assessments
- Ensure quality control, patient safety, and compliance with policies
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- RN licensure (single or multi-state)
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred
Skills
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Interpersonal and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in computer use, delegation, and assessment
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development
