Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, and provide a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
  • Collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine diagnoses, and identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient.
  • Develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes, implement the interventions, and evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of the outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Perform professional nursing work of considerable difficulty, including patient care as outlined by physicians and organizational policies.
  • Provide patient and family health education and health assessment.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) accredited nursing program.
  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
  • CPR/BLS certified.
  • Knowledge of triage procedures along with clinic, physician office, and/or urgent care experience.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.
  • Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families regarding disease nature and care instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data, and develop, recommend, and implement solutions.

Pay

USD $32.21 - USD $47.60 per hour.
