Registered Nurse / RN Cardiac Outpatient Prep

About the Role

Join our team as a day shift, full-time Cardiac Outpatient and Recovery Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. This role operates in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment, utilizing theoretical knowledge and practical skills including cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Organize patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Apply specialized skills in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment, including cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• If ACLS certified upon hire, must maintain; otherwise, obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment and maintain.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).
• NIHSS certification.
