Registered Nurse Cardiology Outpatient

About the role

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to care for pediatric patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You’ll provide direct patient care in clinic, coordinate ongoing care, and manage phone triage to ensure seamless support for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in our general cardiology outpatient clinics
• Perform patient assessments, administer treatments, and provide education to patients and families
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support the mission and values of Cincinnati Children’s by delivering compassionate, family-centered care

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution with 2+ years of experience
• BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution or MSN preferred
• Active Ohio RN License
• Pediatric cardiology experience strongly desired
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Commitment to teamwork and continuous learning
