Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 36.00

Pay

Salary Range: $34.00 - $48.00
Pay Info: Sign on bonus available to eligible applicants!

Department Details

This 32-bed inpatient unit specializes in the care of cardiovascular and surgical patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions. Common cases include unstable angina, post-MI care, heart failure, arrhythmias, and recovery from cardiac bypass, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic procedures. The unit also manages patients following cardiac catheterizations, device implants, and cardioversions. This unit is recognized as a Top 100 Heart Hospital.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
