Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab - Full-Time

About the role

The RN Assistant Manager in the Cardiac Cath Lab oversees patient care, staff management, and departmental operations. The position emphasizes patient safety, team collaboration, and operational efficiency within a leading hospital known for excellence in cardiac care and nursing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Coordinate patient care, develop care plans, and ensure adherence to policies.
• Monitor staff productivity and department goals, respond to staffing needs, and handle payroll and communication tasks.
• Maintain equipment, manage budgets, and support quality and safety standards.
• Administer conscious sedation, assess patient responses, and advocate for patient needs during procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience (preferred 5–10 years).
• Active RN license; BLS/ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath or Electrophysiology Lab preferred; procedural or critical care experience also valued.
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
