About the role
Oversee patient care, staff management, and departmental operations in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Responsibilities
- Manage personnel including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development
- Oversee staffing, budgets, and operational goals
- Coordinate patient care based on assessments and medical plans
- Ensure compliance with policies
- Lead staff communication and meetings
- Maintain equipment and safety standards
- Provide high-quality patient care, administer conscious sedation, assess patient responses, and advocate for patient needs
- Lead a team to meet departmental goals and ensure safety and efficiency in a technologically advanced Cardiac Cath Lab environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2-5 years of nursing experience (preferably in Cardiac Cath or Critical Care)
- RN licensure
- 5-10 years of experience preferred
- Less than 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification required or obtainable within 90 days
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or call
