Responsibilities

• Utilizes specialized plan-of-care intervention and serves as a patient-care innovator.
• Serves as a patient-care innovator, leveraging skills and cutting-edge technology to impact patient wellbeing.
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given and monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Aids patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS certification within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
