Registered Nurse (RN), Medical-Surgical Vascular
About the role
Surgical Services at North Alabama Medical Center includes 15 surgical suites, 6 Endoscopy Rooms, 6 private Pre-Admission Testing rooms, and 30 same day surgery rooms. Our team comprises specially trained surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technologists, certified nurse anesthetists, and other highly skilled professionals.
Responsibilities
- Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention and serve as a patient-care innovator.
- Shape exceptional patient journeys every day using cutting-edge technology.
- Identify and address patient needs and priorities through assessment, planning, and collaboration with other health care providers.
- Execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.
- Advocate for patients, representing their interests when they cannot express themselves due to illness.
- Be accountable for the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction, and acceptable costs.
Requirements
- A current state RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
