Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Contributing your voice during interdisciplinary rounds, helping drive seamless communication and smooth transitions of care
• Taking an active role in a highly collaborative team environment where shared accountability and teamwork directly impact outcomes

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred
• Prior patient care experience
• Comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Behavioral Health Adult population

Schedule

• Per diem night schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• 3 shifts per month required, including 1 weekend shift, 2 shifts Monday–Friday, 1 Winter Holiday, and 1 Summer Holiday
• Weekday schedule varies depending on department needs

Pay

$49.28 – $67.04 per hour (pay depends on education, skills, and professional experience)
