Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Develop and evaluate care plans
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families
- Delegate tasks appropriately
- Precept new staff or students as needed
- Assess patient needs
- Coordinate care including transfers and discharges
- Support a therapeutic, patient-centered environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of three years of acute care RN experience with the target patient population
- Valid Maine RN license or eligibility
- BLS certification (MOAB preferred)
- Strong critical thinking
- Flexibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Schedule
12-hour night shifts (7p–7a), part-time (24 hours/week).
