Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health - Per Diem

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health, providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department Behavioral Health Suite. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments; monitor and communicate patient conditions; collaborate across disciplines for care coordination, including transfers, admissions, and discharges; educate patients and families; delegate tasks to staff; precept students and new hires.Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of three years of acute care RN experience with this patient population; valid Maine RN license or ability to obtain; BLS and MOAB preferred; strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills; commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Key Duties: Ensure safe, supportive, and innovative care in a therapeutic environment; work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 24 hours per week; focus on patient outcomes and resource utilization.
