About the role
Full-time registered nurse position in the Behavioral Health, Child & Adolescent department at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital.
Schedule
Full-Time, Nights, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am (rotating holidays/weekends).

Responsibilities
- Treat patients, educate them about mental and medical conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and/or family members.
- Run therapeutic groups and perform psychiatric crisis intervention, including seclusion and restraint of patients.
- Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms.
- Help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Operate medical machinery and administer treatment and medications.
- Assist with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
- Teach patients and their families how to manage illness or injury, including diet and exercise programs, and self-administration of medication and physical therapy.
- Other related duties.
Requirements
- Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
- Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
- Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health.

Pay
Reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
