Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting changes in patient status
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate patient needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery
- Serve as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to manage continuation of care for specialized patient groups
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Registered Nurse Diploma
