Registered Nurse, RN, Behavioral Health

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in Massachusetts
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• BLS certification required within 30 days; ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Behavioral health or psychiatric experience preferred
• Leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
• Able to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered and trauma-informed care

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and support clinical decision-making
• Ensure appropriate staffing and patient coverage
• Provide leadership, guidance, and clinical support to staff
• Respond to patient needs, assist with admissions
• Support staff development, coaching, and performance management
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform direct patient care as needed
• Support a safe, therapeutic, and efficient hospital environment
