Registered Nurse (RN), Behavioral Health
About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Springs, part of Lifepoint Health. Our mission is to prioritize your well-being so you can provide exceptional care to others.
Responsibilities
- Assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
- Oversee and supervise the shift
- Demonstrate leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc.
- Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
- Maintain monitoring of patient for change of condition and respond accordingly up to and including notification of the physician
- Follow hospital policy for medication administration
- Use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients
- Deliver quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies
- Assist/perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients
Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days
- One year of experience
Skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.

Pay
$39.15-$52.85/hr
Schedule
7a - 7p + rotating weekends/every 3rd weekend/every weekend + on call, holidays, etc.
