Responsibilities

• Ensure hospice patients are comfortable and forge compassionate, meaningful connections with family members.
• Maintain trust with patients and families by guiding them through the end-of-life journey.
• Make care decisions at the bedside to bring comfort to patients.
• Provide holistic support for patients and families by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years.
• Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered.
