Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care following state, federal, and facility guidelines
• Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Medication administration
• Wound and treatment care
• Offering general nursing care to patients according to the facility's policies and procedures
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for review by the nurse

Qualifications & Skills

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms
• Ability to interact with various individuals and promote teamwork
• Effective negotiation and interaction with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory bodies
