Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for the health care visit
• Verifies patient information
• Completes records
• Supports patient care delivery
• Assists health care providers during examinations
• Adheres to OSHA regulations
• Prepares laboratory specimens
• Performs basic laboratory tests
• Carries out Provider’s orders
• Dispenses medications, birth control and controlled substances
• Conducts ultrasounds
• Documents written information
• Maintains patient data in EMR/EHR
• Performs follow up duties on laboratory results
• Participates in the rotating on call program

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Compact RN license for Kansas and Missouri
• BLS certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and evenings
• Possess ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional posture
• Experience with electronic medical records systems required; prior working knowledge of Epic preferred
• Minimum of two years’ experience in clinical setting; prior experience in surgical setting preferred
• Minimum of one year women’s health care experience; prior experience with sonography preferred
• Travel throughout the affiliate as needed
• Bilingual a plus

• $2,500 sign on bonus is payable at the end of 60 days of successful employment
• Annual Paid Time Off: Vacation - 112.5 hours, Sick Leave - 48 hours, Holidays - 105 hours which includes a full holiday week in December
• Parental Leave: After 12 months of full-time employment, employees are eligible for paid parental leave which is 100% base salary for 6 weeks

Pay

Starting Salary Range: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Schedule

37.5 hour work week, four 10 hour days
