A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse (RN)
You play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose!
- Mindfully monitor residents' condition and needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitor for side effects, and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Oversight of nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure resident care plans are followed.
- Complete documentation and manage the admission and discharge of residents.
- Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect found during care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
- Comply with facility policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification.
- Confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
- Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing (preferred but not required).
Work Schedule
- Full-time positions work 8-hour shifts: Day, Mid-Shift.
