Registered Nurse (RN)

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Procedure Care
• Review patient history, labs, and imaging results
• Absess patient condition and readiness for procedure
• Obtain informed consent and explain procedures
• Start IV lines and administer pre-procedure medications
• Intra-Procedure Support
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety
• Monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels)
• Administer conscious sedation or analgesia (depending on certification)
• Assist the interventional radiologist during procedures, circulator
• Post-Procedure Care
• Monitor recovery and vital signs
• Assess puncture sites for bleeding or complications
• Provide discharge instructions and patient education
• Manage pain and administer medications

Skills & Competencies

• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making
• Knowledge of radiologic procedures and equipment
• Sedation and airway management skills
• Excellent communication and patient education
• Ability to respond to emergencies (e.g., bleeding, contrast reactions)

Education & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Certifications required:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Compensation

$40.00 per hour
