About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating resident care, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff
- Plans, assigns, and adjusts work based on resident needs and staffing levels
- Manages staffing calls and replacements
- Conducts performance evaluations
- Resolves staff concerns
- Oversees unit operations in absence of higher management
- Uses independent judgment within company policies
Qualifications
- Current RN license
- CPR certification (or within 90 days of hire)
- 1-2 years of experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred
