About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) 12 hour shifts at Haven Healthcare affiliated facilities. Deliver specialized services tailored to individual needs, interests, and capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.
  • Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
  • Make daily rounds of unit and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Nursing License required by the state.
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
  • Compliant with the state’s Health Care Worker Background Check requirements with respect to criminal history.
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to our residents and visitors.
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and able to handle stress.
  • Energetic, professional, and reliable.
