Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care within a team-focused healthcare environment, adhering to professional standards and organizational values of integrity, respect, accountability, compassion, and patient focus.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver competent, individualized care.
- Coordinate care delivery, promote health education, and ensure safe, holistic treatment aligned with patient needs and cultural diversity.
- Engage in professional activities such as ethical practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, and evidence-based quality improvement.
- Maintain adherence to standards outlined by the ANA and state licensing requirements, including certification and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state; BCLS certification required or obtainable within one month.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients of varying weights.
- Experience or certification in clinical specialties is encouraged.
