About the role
Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our compassionate and high-performing clinical leadership team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with daily nursing operations
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure high standards of resident care
- Address and escalate staff concerns or grievances in a timely and appropriate manner
- Monitor staffing levels and help optimize scheduling to reduce overtime and agency usage
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support disciplinary processes when needed
- Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, collaborative unit environment
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, budget planning, and internal committees
- Oversee MDS coordination and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary care teams on discharge planning
- Ensure residents receive compassionate, individualized, and high-quality care
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking abilities
