About the role
The Assistant Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Responsibilities
- Assistance with supervision of all personnel
- Ordering of supplies and equipment
- Managing the schedules
Requirements
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to handle multiple priorities at one time
- Able to supervise multiple areas
Education
- Academic degree in nursing required (bachelor's or master's degree)
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field required (health administration, business, public health, or management)
Experience
- 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position
Certifications
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy
- AHA BLS
