Registered Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Care, Full-Time, Days

About the role

Provides and coordinates nursing care in ambulatory, medical office, or urgent care settings, adhering to regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care based on individualized plans addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Assess patient needs and develop evidence-based care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols.
• Document and coordinate patient care activities, including assessments, education, and safety measures.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members, ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Communicate patient conditions effectively with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on post-visit care to promote informed health decisions.
• Maintain a compassionate environment, serve as a role model, and participate in team education and mentoring.
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
• Engage in professional development, compliance training, and shared governance activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) or RN diploma/certificate with recognized licensure.
• Current RN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or state of practice.
• No prior experience required.
